Introducing Murray Pitter
– Custodian of the Jørgen Massage Table.
We are delighted
to welcome Murray Pitter back to the High Spirits Retreat family.
Murray and Jørgen worked side by side from 1998–2003, handcrafting the original Jørgen massage tables and treatment equipment in Brisbane. Together, they created tables renowned for their strength, comfort, beauty, and longevity—many of which are still used by therapists today.
Murray is a true craftsman. He also did KaHuna levels 1-3 and facilitated Chair massage with Jorgen and Mette Sorensen. He brings integrity, care and exceptional attention to detail to everything he creates. Highly skilled, practical and knowledgeable, he has an incredible ability to turn ideas into beautifully crafted, functional pieces. Whether working with timber, building, creating or solving a challenge, Murray approaches every project with thoughtfulness, passion and a genuine “can-do”
It feels very special to have Murray continuing this legacy.

The Huna Massage Table
The Huna Massage Table is lovingly handcrafted from locally sourced timbers and upholstered in hand-picked quality bovine leather.
Each table is extra wide for client comfort and height-adjustable for your convenience and safety.
The table weighs approximately 15 kgs for easy portability, and we also offer a pregnancy feature.
The design of the Huna table has evolved over time to the current elegant, durable classic.
