Our Ohana Chapter: Community, Family, Belonging.

Since our update in the Facebook group a few days ago, we have received almost 200 messages from our Ohana community.
As we read your incredibly kind and supportive words, what we felt most strongly was this:
High Spirits is not ending. It is continuing to live and thrive through people, practices, friendships, teachings and places across Australia and around the world. Again and again we read that High Spirits has become more than a retreat or training space, it has become a place to return to, a place of healing, and a community that feels like family.
We have been touched by the overwhelming response from our community, our Ohana. Mette has made the heartfelt decision to remain the custodian of High Spirits as we enter a new chapter - an Ohana Chapter. Together, we will continue to honour the foundations created together.

As we read through all the messages, again and again, people shared stories of Jørgen’s craftsmanship, vision and quiet strength - from handcrafted massage tables, spaces and saunas to the practical foundations that helped High Spirits grow. His contribution continues to support healing in countless ways.

Many reflected that their experiences at High Spirits changed the direction of their lives - opening hearts, supporting births, careers, healing journeys, relationships and personal growth.

One of the strongest messages we felt was a longing to stay connected - to gather, practise, nourish one another and keep the spirit of Ohana alive.

A suitcase. A dream. A community.
We are listening, we are planning, and we are taking things one step at a time.
